“All work and no play makes Jack,” is a variation on the old saw, and while Jack gets richer, he has very little by way of enjoyment . . . unless his work is also his play. That’s the case with me. Photography remains a hobby, and so does, to limited degree, writing. In the gallery that follows, the three photos that incorporate books are part of a non-fiction book I’m currently writing; when complete, there will be 36 shots similar to those you’ll see, plus many supporting shots. The other photos are images I saw in life and had to take, or saw in my mind’s eye and had to make. There are many more, of course, but you’ll get the idea.
